THE BEACHES AND THE MOUNTS

The Drassanes is the largest shipyard in the world from the Middle Ages and is one of the best examples of Catalonian civil Gothic architecture. The Olympic Village and Olympic Port were built for the '92 Games: twin towers, restaurants, cafés and bars, and 2000 apartments facing the sea. The Montjuïc (Monte de los judíos) with its 17th century castle which served as a prison, and the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalonia.
