You will learn how to take care of and handle the horses, as well as being taught how to mount them and to gallop. It is a perfect route for active people who would like to discover the Catalan countryside from a truely remarkable perspective.

During our stay, our lodgings will be in a XIII century family run rural farmhouse restored to offer a confortable and enjoyable stay, and located in a tiny village with just 56 inhabitans.

Day 1: To take advantage of our time, we will leave Barcelona early and arrive in Camprodón mid-morning. On arriving, our instructors will be ready to introduce us to the fascinating world of horses. Before mounting the horses we will leave our luggage at our new home, we will choose our horse and then sample the local gastronomy.

Those who never have riden a horse before will learn how to bridle, saddle and prepare them and how to hold the reins correctly. We will then practice guiding the horses and keeping our balance, finally learning how to gallop.
